What do you guys think about a ride on National Forest next weekend, March 26th?
It will take about 4 hours, if we don't rush. The ride will be easy to moderate but mostly easy. Most of the trip you will not need to use 4 wheel drive.
The trip is across Hog Back Mountain in Bland County. We will start at South Gap, cross the mountain to Kimberlyn Springs Road and home.
I will post pics of the trail route later.

If someone caught you, I would say that they would say a lot but a regular 4x4 can do this ride. if you have one? lol

Jamie22,
Put "farm use" plates on it and no one will say anything because that is a very popular way of driving non-street legal vehicles in Bland County.
No kidding because I grew up in Rocky Gap.
It would be nice to have a big OHV to try and climb or descend a water fall that I don't think that I can do in my Jeep.
I need a someone to show me how or tell me to never try it.

Lets meet at South Gap at 12 noon and ride should take no more then 6 hours to return to South Gap after crossing the mountain to Kimberlyn Spring Road.

Here is the water fall that I'm not sure that I can drop off of in my Jeep. Here is the trail for Hogback Mtn. and some details about trail. The picture above of the water fall is at the end of the creek ride marker on the map.
